There’s always talk surrounding every Super Bowl, with countless stats being doled out and explained in detail. This year, the information overload involves tracking Taylor Swift’s every move from Tokyo to Las Vegas and her relationship with one of Kansas City’s michael players, Travis Kelce.
Most NFL player arrivals include practical bags, with Louis Vuitton’s Keepall being one of the most loved by players across the board. However, this doesn’t mean the classic variations because the players have some of the rare collaboration pieces that are hard to find or dress in head-to-toe full-fashion looks.
Kansas City Chiefs
The majority of coverage surrounding this Super Bowl involves the Chiefs. If you are a current event and entertainment follower, you know this has little to do with the actual football game. However, the Chiefs earned their ticket to the big game and are going for back-to-back wins, which hasn’t happened since 2004.
The Chiefs have many well-dressed players with bag collections and arrival outfits that I love. The Chiefs have a strong fashion presence from the more eclectic looks Travis Kelce opts for (compare that to his brother, who loves a flip flop no matter the temperature) to a dapper dressing Mahomes.
When it comes to the two teams and the bag game of the players, from what I see, the Chiefs win from this standpoint!

There’s a bit more Goyard (thanks to Deebo Samuel) and a few other options when it comes to bags that the 49ers carry. However, Louis Vuitton travel items continue to be the player favorite and include everything from trolleys to Keepalls.

I love this! The NFL has great bags. You should do these posts throughout the season.

I really enjoyed these and today my 18-year-old son looked at the outfits with me and said fire for most of them with one or two mids thrown in. I agree with him. These are are young ,athletic men mostly in their 20s who are dressing like most people in their generation would if they could afford it. I always enjoy seeing bags out in the world like the bags in the wild series than I do seeing a bunch of designer bags in displays.

This is great. Fashion Week Meets the Super Bowl. I remember thinking last year I don’t know who Travis Kelce is. What a difference a year makes.
who me? Not at all, the outfits look scruffy apart from 3 of them, security behind them look more like gentlemen than they do, the manbags are way over the top with all the logos, too much designer logo just makes it look cheap, nothing to be jealous of here
“Scruffy” is a strange word to use. Even if it’s not to your tastes, most of the men shown are highly groomed with very clean and elaborate dress, almost to a level of modern day ‘dandy’ standards. So it’s interesting that you choose “scruffy” to describe them.
To quote and paraphrase the NFL’s most recent super fan: “well the haters gonna hate hate hate hate hate” but I bet these guys just “shake it off.”

Looks like LV won the toss and the game! Was interesting to see some Goyard bags in there — but hmmm, no Goyard rollers. I liked the Rimova and Gucci rollers. We looked at both of those as well as the LV, but the LV was immediately excluded. Its pullup extended handle is just too wide to accommodate bags that have that strap on their back so they can slip over the pull-up handle. Rimova and Gucci rollers have extended handles with the traditional width, which makes them easier to use.
That first photo of Trent Williams illustrates my point … but thanks PB for posting a fun column!

Do you suppose they all were gifted each and every item for a product placement advantage for the designer, mostly Louis Vuitton? Do they each have their own stylists? They actually all look really good cleaned up!
Most of these guys buy their own bags or they are given to them by another player or a fan/celebrity. There is a tradition of the QB giving gifts to the Offensive Line for Christmas (sort of a thank you for protecting me all season) — Jalen Hurts gifted his O-Line LV travel bags a couple of years ago. Most of these guys are not famous enough to be on the radar for gifts from designers, other than Travis and maybe Patrick. My brother played in the NFL for a couple of years and is still in the NFLPA and says that they get all kinds of gifts from local stores, bars, restaurants, etc. but not really gifts from designers unless the player has what my brother calls Tom Brady fame.
Goyard doesn’t gift. I would think Travis for sure is being gift LV because its too much.

Do they actually wear that for hours while sitting on the plane? Or do they change right before they get off just to show off? Because most of these outfits doesnt look wrinkled or worn at all…
It is a modern day kind of Dandy-style for sure. It looks good, but Im a bit booring and prefers a man in a more traditional simple suit 🙂

I think this is more of competition of who can wear the most TNF outfit and most outrageous man bag
not the blatant jealousy
Brunello Cucinelli monili-embrodiered suede tote bag.
I am shocked. Didn’t know Mahomes could pull it together. Great job to his stylist.

You seem to be jealous enough to comment. Nice try! 🤣🤣🤣 Logo mania will rise again in trends, and you’ll be wearing your logos so you’re “on trend.” 🤡
BTW, I find your use of the word scruffy to be highly offensive in this context.
